Our team of experienced geophysicists, surveyors and engineers gather 2D and 3D seismic data. This is powered by the most modern equipments and latest data gathering techniques. This not only helps to assess the chances of finding new oil reservoirs, but can also determine whether older fields still contain oil and gas. While the 3D technology can create more accurate images of the earth, 4D seismic helps the companies to understand the nature of reservoirs without any actual drilling. It requires a thorough analysis of several 3D surveys done over a period of time. This enables experts to predict future changes with precision and accuracy.

Each team member is equipped with fully integrated and advanced DGPS (Differential Global Positioning System) for accurate surveys. It also works on shallow and complicated targets such as salt dome boundaries, lignite beds and glacial disturbances. This has greatly enhanced data acquisition capabilities and offers improved sub-surface imaging in logistically difficult and geologically complex areas. We have acquired more than 3000 G.L.K. (Ground Line Kilometre) of seismic data in diverse terrain conditions. These range from rugged mountains and marshy jungles to river valleys and transition zones. The project areas covered include over 350 G.L.K. in the Himalayan foothills, over 550 G.L.K. across rivers and over 450 G.L.K. Special equipments such as air guns and cascaded hydro-phones have been used during a 2D seismic survey in the Krishna Godavri Basin, as most of the work was performed over rivers or wetlands.
